Who Am I?

Updated: Jan 12

So for my first post, I wasn't sure what I would do because of all the different thing I want to talk about but it's a good thing I have their own sections for it. First of all, my name is Harun Pacavar and I'm 23 years old. I just graduated college in 2024 and currently working to get my money up haha. I come from immigrant parents who came to the United States from Eastern Europe in the late 90's. They had me here and since then I've been exploring my world and trying new things out.

I grew up playing the sport I love most, soccer, or as the rest of the world would say "futbol", and played all through college... well, I actually played for the club team but I just tell people I played university ball. I tried all sorts of different things like karate, swimming basketball, and even threw some javelin in high school until that 2020 pandemic hit. Swimming was a one day thing because I hated someone telling me how to do it lol, karate was just something I did because my parents put me in it, and basketball was actually something I enjoyed until my JV high school coach decided to never play me so I said "eh I quit".

These sports all had one thing in common though; I met so many new people and grew my own network by a lot. That's honestly why I'm doing this. I thought it would always be cool to write about things I like to do and maybe even put something out that somebody could learn from. This world SUCKS with communication because we're all stuck on our phones and watching things that we like and not pay attention to others. I'm sure that many people won't even be reading this but you never know. Once I start writing about my specific interest, like the ones you saw on the home page, I'm hoping others will pick up on them and maybe provide their own insight on things. My mental health section isn't going to be a therapy session where I just vent about my life. It'll be more of a way to help others guide through some issues. We have all gone through some tough times, including myself, and I am really eager to provide the same tips I used to help me get through them.

Another reason I'm sure I'm going to stick with this is that I LOVE writing! I was one of those students in college that was mildly excited to write an essay because I just knew how to do it. This is kind of like that but with my own spin on it. I'm going to make sure to talk about the most relevant topics and even if something might be a bit niche, I want to make it as approachable as possible.

Alright well I probably shouldn't make my first post a bit too long because screw reading too much. Just straight to the point. Also I'm currently at work typing this up and should probably get back to it.

This post isn't one for advice but more so as an update into what's been going on recently. Nothing horrible has been going on haha but...
